Religious Organizations are a great place to host Tami's "Community, Character and Caring: Respecting & Embracing Differences"
programs which teach people of all ages to actively think about and understand what it means and feels like to be different—and
then enjoy the fact that we are all UNIQUE. Tami's program challenges people to live the words DARE TO BE YOU™ and DARE TO DREAM™
and DARE TO BE DIFFERENT™ with an emphasis on "Boosting Self-Esteem" and "Character Building" through community involvement, mental
health and physical fitness.
Topics range from physical disabilities to learning disabilities, from ethnicities to cultures, from family make-up to economics, from race to religion,
from name calling to bullying, from sexual preference to severe allergies and illnesses. The program challenges people of all ages to embrace the fact
that each and every person has something of value to add to our community. Religious organizations provide a unique opportunity to combine Tami's
messages of respect and character with religious teachings.
The program is interactive. Tami has addressed entire religious groups during traditional services. Her program can also be part of religious school
teaching. It can be done in a variety of ways including one large presentation followed by in-depth sessions in classrooms. The series may also
include a specific talk with administrators and teachers to address issues that may arise as a result of the program, as well as new areas to explore
in classrooms regarding the subject matter. There are opportunities for parent groups and school organizations to get involved with the program to
further the reach of Tami's message of "respecting and embracing differences." The program has been done for all ages from pre-school school students
through adults. The program can then be tailored to suit your needs.
